On to Today’s episode … about what small things you can do to stay focused.
Where is your mindset, how can you stay focused? What decisions do you make each day that helps you get closer to your goals or priorities that really matter? If you make poor decisions each day what the compounding effect in is 1 year or 5 years from now.
Think about your goal BIG Goals those someday goals the stretch goals and ask yourself if what I’m doing right now is this going to get me closer to that ultimate goal. If the answer is no then don’t do it.
I presented The Slight Edge video by Jeff Olson -at my presentation on Executing your business strategy and it was a hit so I wanted to share it with you as it provides examples and provides impact on why the small decisions are important.
This video you will learn that successful people go small and focus on what they should do on a decision by decision basis.
I encourage you.. NO I dare you to ask yourself the question each time you have a decision. Is this task going to get me closer to my ultimate someday goals or BHAG?

I will end today with a quick story reminds my uncle told me when I was getting married. He said, Shelley – Your auntie Lil and I have been married 20 years. When we got married she said, “Gib you can make all the big decisions and I will make all the small ones.” He said, the strange thing is 20 years later I have not had to make one big decision yet!
Have an Awesome week & remember to continue making great decisions and fight Mediocracy.
Success is actually a short race – a sprint fueled by discipline just long enough for habit to kick in and take over” – Gary W. Keller
